Elle 18 lipstick in Shade Pinken : Review

I just cant tell you how much I love this shade. I hated it the moment I saw this and was very much skeptical about even  trying this. I don't use light shades at all on my face because i already told you i have pigmented lips but this one oh my my I just love it. Its smooth its creamy in texture and the colour stays on for 3 hours or so and then as a stain stays up to 5 hrs if there is no much eating and drinking. I already told you so much about this brand in my previous posts here, here and here.

Pros:
 Moisturizing
Budget friendly
Pigmented
Staying power is fine
Many shades available
Perfect for beginners

Cons:
Poor packaging

Pinken is more like a warm pink mixed with purple but when you apply it its just a light pink on the lips

Elle 18 lipstick in Shade Rosy Blush : Review

**sigh** Another one? Yes, I know. As I already told you I have four of them :) :) By the Way let me remember you asked me budget friendly ones to review first dint you?? Lol  :) Ok! So this is another one from Elle 18 I have in the shade Rosy blush and number 27. I don't want to talk more about this brand since I already did it here and here.

Pros:
Moisturizing
Budget friendly
Pigmented
Staying power is fine
Many shades available
Perfect for beginners

Cons:
Poor packaging

Rosy blush is a red mixed with some pink. Its a beautiful shade near to red but not actually red.

Brand: Elle 18
Lipstick: 27- Rosy Blush
Type: moisturizing
Price: 100rs
Where to buy: HERE
Rating: 4/5 (1 for poor packaging)
Will I buy them again: yes yes and yes!!!!

My take on the product:
The colour is a little different from what it is shown in the site. I expected a brick colour but this was more like a metallic red mixed with pink. It took some time for me to wear this shade. Initially I wore it as a stain under lip balm but now I just realized it looks beautiful if you pair up with nice dress. The moisturizing effect doesn't let your lips dry there fore no dry flakes. Must try for beginners.

Hello ladies,

It is bright pink shade amazing for summers. It is a great budget friendly lipstick for beginners and works really fine. It doesn't try out on lips.

Hot pink is an amazing bright pink shade

Brand: Elle 18
Lipstick: 26- Hot Pink
Type: moisturizing
Price: 100rs
Where to buy: HERE
Rating: 4/5 (1 for poor packaging)

My take on the Product : I was not happy with the colour when I saw it but when I put it on OMG!!! it instantly brightened up my face and I was just blushing looking at my self. Can you imagine a lipstick worth 100rs giving you such look. I love this product as I said before. It is a very good shade for sporting out bright colours. I have a packaging issue with these lipsticks though they look very cute they are not that standard. This is that lipstick I carry in my wallet along with Pinken shade which I will review soon,

What Lipstick are you Carrying in your Hand bag???

Elle 18 lipstick in Shade Rusty: Review

Hello beauties,
Today I am reviewing Elle 18 Lipsticks because they are so affordable and moisturizing too. They are great in winters. You all know by now that I have pigmented lips so I NEED A lipstick to hide them. That Need just went on and grew into a weakness. I absolutely love lipsticks and lip glosses and there is no cosmetic shopping of mine complete without a lipstick. Now if you are not comfortable with lipsticks and still want to get some colour then I suggest blotting. Wear a nice coat of lipstick and blot it with a tissue. Boom. No lipstick but gorgeously stained lips.

Rusty is more like a brown mixed with orange shade. Its a little metallic colour close to bronze.

Brand: Elle 18
Lipstick: 29-rusty
Type: moisturizing
Price: 100rs
Where to buy: HERE
Rating: 4/5 (1 for poor packaging)
Will I buy them again: yes yes and yes!!!!

My take on the Product:
When this colour pops add came out with bright neons and others I was interested in nail polishes. Such beautiful colours for 50 rupees was like yayyy!! Then i thought why don't i try lipsticks?? I searched every shop but they were not available that's when i found them in Goodlife.com. They were just 100 rupees. Imagine when i already have others for almost 600-800rs and this was 100 rs. I was so happy!! I immediately ordered them. the lipstick comes in a little healthy (fat) tube which has a nice cartoon girl with a bright lip. I love the packaging but wished if it was more standarad because I broke my cap with in few weeks. This particular one is in the number 29 called Rusty. Rusty is a gorgeous bronzed orange metallic colour perfect for Indian weddings! I MUST say. This has a clear round section between which is like a lip balm. It is very very moisturizing same like Revlon lip butter which costs you around 600.  I love this. If you want to experiment with colours or you want to get your first lipstick and see whether you are comfortable or not Please go ahead and buy this lipstick. You will not be disappointed.

Have you tried anyone of these?? If yes, Which one is it?

5 Cleansers to prevent Breakouts!!!!

Hello every one,
This is a highly requested post. You all have been asking me many questions regarding break outs and acne. I have gathered all the information. I used every product and then came with these results. I am more than happy to share this information with you. In this post I am giving you five best face washes/Cleansers for your skin to prevent break outs. Now you have to understand that if problem persists you MUST consult a dermatologist because there is nothing like Professional help. These face washes do not work on bacterial Acne but will definitely work on breakouts.

5. Ponds Pure White Deep Cleansing foam:
This is by Far the ONLY product Pond's is actually good at. I used almost every other face wash from pond's but ended up with worst break outs ever. I absolutely hated white beauty and perfect care cleansers. I swore I will never ever touch any cleanser from pond's. One day my friend asked me to try this cleanser as it was working wonders on her oily skin. Reluctantly I purchased a small tube and tried it on. Wonder! No breakouts and it actually kept my face matte for almost 4 hours, Which was absolutely amazing for me. Since then I always carry it with me in my bag for emergencies and I recommend it to every one around me. It works amazingly fine on men too. This is the best face wash for oily skin people. It reduces blemishes and removes tan. If you are new to face washes then this is a must try!
Buy here!!

4. Neutrogena Oil- Free Acne Wash:
This is one of the first cleansers I have ever tried and I tend to go back to it when my skin becomes highly impossible  to manage. This is my most trusted face wash. It clears up acne like magic. It helps to prevent acne from reoccurring as we know acne tends to attack again and again :( This face wash doesn't foam really well but it does lather fine. It is not very drying but it also doesn't leave your skin oily. If you are not comfortable using a non foaming cleanser then you might not like this. It smells amazing like a baby soap almost close to Johnson and Johnson.

3. Avaderm Soothing facial Cleanser:
This cleanser is from cosmedic and I heard amazing reviews from other beauty bloggers and I wanted to try it. This cleanser works wonders on Acne. It prevents them from occurring. It helps the reduce pain in the affected area and is very soothing. It smells like cardamom for me. The main problem with this cleanser is it does not foam or lather. It just dilutes on skin and feels almost like water. I often wash my face off with my regular cleanser after this. When used twice every day the appearance of breakouts was almost zero. I highly recommend it for people with sensitive skin.

2. Vichy Normaderm gel cleanser:
After reading almost thousand reviews I convinced myself to get this one. I got a tube pack of this cleanser which was not OK because the cleanser was a gel consistency one. I wish i had got the one with pump dispenser since it would be easy to use. Anyways, this works amazingly good on acne. I prevents break outs and shows you results in one week. It lathers up really well removing dirt and other residues giving you clearer skin every time. I love this cleanser. My skin feels fresh and neat after every use.

1. Olay Regenerist cream cleanser:
I cant thank enough that health and glow girl for almost forcing me to buy this product.  I mean, she literally said I will feel bad if I missed it. I just cant tell you how amazing it is. I found out a difference right from the first wash. I use it twice a day. It is a cream cleanser so i use only this is the morning but at night I follow it up with my regular cleanser which is cosmedic Alpha-Q brightening face wash. No break outs at all.  It has small granules which are not harsh on at all harsh on the skin. It suits every skin type and I swear by this product. I highly recommend this for everyone who have acne pron skin.

P.S: Skin care products work differently for different skin types. This products may or may not work on you but they did a great job on me.

Which One are You Using Right Now????

Sluggish sundays: Part 2

Hello everyone!! Hope you are having an awesome weekend. Welcome to my second part of sluggish sundays. These are another set of five questions I am asking myself. If you want to know anything about me that you want to feature in this edition please msg me in my page or leave a comment.

1.) If I had to choose one beauty product without which I wouldn't walk out of my home, what would it be?

It would definitely be my blush. I can carry away a goodmorning look without kohl but with blush i think it gives you a healthier look.

2.) One product I always carry with me?

It would definetly be my lipbalm. I can dab it on my eyelids to give some shine or use it on my lips instead of gloss.

3.) One Product I am loving and hating Right now?

I am absolutely loving the rimmel stay matte powder. It is working wonders this summer preventing oil on my skin.

I am hating the hypercurl mascara from maybelline. It is just not ok.

4.) One electronic item I absolutely love?

Haha. I just came up with that question to tell you how much I am loving my new xperia Z in purple. I am instagramming and taking self potraits all day long. It is soo addictive.

5.) What do I absolutely hate in me?
My lips. I have pigmented lips and I just hate them. All beautiful girls around me have rosy pink lips and I have brown lips which is so depressing and which donot allow me to wear light shaded lipsticks comfortably. I just cant be confident enough without a lipstick or a lipbalm or some gloss :(

Make up?? Not Allowed :(

We should all start to live before we get too old. Fear is stupid. So are regrets.

-Marilyn Monroe

Hello teenagers!!! This post is exclusively for you. Have you been wanting to wear make up and are not allowed to?? Want to look neat and polished with your parents permission?? Lets go! I know how it feels when you are in school and A cute guy passes by without noticing you. When some one else gets your crush's attention. When every body apart from you seem perfect. I also know the nerve wrecking tension when you have to meet your crush for asking his notes. No No No. No make up tips here. You sweeties are too young to wear heavy make up. Make up is just not right in early teens and it might damage your skin in future. How ever you absolutely need not worried about break outs or aging so skin care isn't required too. isn't it??

Tinted moisturizers/ BB creams:
Uneven skintone?? Blemishes?? Dull skin? Say good bye to all with this lovely BB creams and tinted moisturizers.
What should you say to mummy??
Mum, Yesterday I read an article saying sun damages your skin and you must use sunscreen everyday. I think this mark here is because of that. I think I should get one.

Powder:
Oily skin??? Does it take just few hours to see oil on your skin? Use a good powder to remove all that.
What should you say to mummy?
Nothing. Use her pressed powder.

Kohl:
This is the major tool for you. You can create a winged eye liner, a cat eye, a smudged liner and many other things with this. Always remember its just the eyes that do the magic
What should you say to mummy?
Nothing. Ask your grandmother benefits of kajal or kohl. She will give you all the details and then say i never wore kajal because I am not allowed to. She will do the rest

Tinted Lip balms:
Tinted lip balms exactly act as Lip glosses with SPF and other healing properties as benefits. You will have soft glossy and slightly coloured lips. and every time you smile you look absolutely stunning
What should you say to mummy?
Go stand in front of her with chapped lips and say its hurting. She will immediately get you one.

My best picks:
Tinted moisturizer: I love lotus sunscreen and the Ponds BB cream
Powder: Rimmel Stay matte
Kohl: Maybelline colossal Kajal
Tinted Lipbalm: Nivea Fruity shine in strawberry

Love,
Mounika Roches.
