Wedding Update : The haldi and Wedding !

Hello Girls! I hope every one of you are doing good. I am pretty much busy these days working on a new project. So I am finally here to wrap up the wedding series I am doing on my Bff's wedding which happened last year in the December. You can check the Sangeeth and Mehendi here and here.
I couldn't attend the entire Haldi event because it was kind of early in the morning and I cant attend anything in early mornings. The dress code was basically anything yellow for Haldi and by the time I reached she was wearing a red saree meeting people. I do have some beautiful pictures of her haldi though.

My Opinion : I did not understand the yellow outfit. It looks like a crop top lehenga with a dupatta. The fabric looks like lace, I think, could be braaso too but since I did not have a look at the outfit I just cant tell. I think it went well with the theme. The plastic flower jwellery looked quite different. She looked beautiful and everything is so unique. Coming to the saree it is red and paired with a contrast blue blouse with a simple cut work pattern.

What would I do : I think this would be the only event I wouldn't mind listening to my mum and do whatever she planned. I did not plan anything much on my haldi so it was a fun filled evening with friends and family with cheesy jokes and gossip.

What I wore : I wore a simple yellow lehenga, The same one I wore for my Engagement.

The Wedding

The Bride entered in a paalki and was carried by her mama's to the stage in a lotus shaped butta. She wore three sarees. One is kind off purplish pink and two are white. She looked amazing on the day though I kind of was not happy with the MUA, They were supposed to use all MAC products but I saw them using brands like Sivanna colors and incolor for the bride. I liked her best on this day, she looked flawless, nothing went wrong and everything went as planned. let's see some pictures

My Opinion : I love the Pink saree and the elephant border looks so cute. Everything is so perfect. The jewelry is extravagant and she carried it beautifully. There was that bridal glow and radiant skin. I dont think anything was needed to make it better. It was amazing to see how her family flew to be with her on her big day. I think all the hard work her mum did really paid off. I would kill for a mother like that.

What would I do: I think every one feels the same way when it comes to their wedding. I love how mine went and would prefer nothing else. I would never change sarees on the wedding day since its already very tiring and changing and setting up the jwellery is just too painfull. And also when you wear a contrast blouse the hand work people should make sure they do the work even in the front because ' the not embroidered' portion peeking out isn't very appealing.

What I wore : I swear by uppada sarees for the sister/ BFF of the brides. I wore a blue uppada saree and teamed it with a red raw silk blouse with simple kundan work.

Love ,
Mounika Roches.
