Get Skin Like A Baby

Hello ladies,
Today i am going to discuss my skin care routine.
How many of you dream to have a skin like baby? I was one of you. I never knew what skin care meant until I was in my third year of Engineering. Until then I used to wash my face twice a day with A soap and apply A fairness cream(which never worked though). I realised there was A lot of difference between the skin tone of my exposed parts to the unexposed ones. My face was rough, tanned and had breakouts. I wanted to put an end to the difference. For that, I researched on my skin. I found out I had oily skin particularly the "T" zone. There was uneven skin tone on the face too. I used various skin care products on my very own face and ended up with a skin care routine perfect for my skin.

These are pretty much complete products i use:

My absolutely no make up face.

 E.X.F.O.L.I.A.T.I.O.N:

The foremost thing in every skin care should be exfoliation. Scrub should be used twice a week if it is strong and everyday if it is mild. Scrubbing removes dirt, dead skin and pollution on the face which is accumulated on the skin. Tan is one other thing which is reduced because of scrubbing. I use the three scrubs below, Neutrogena is very mild so i use it every day, Freeman and Biotique once in a while. Personally i love Biotique products, there are too good on skin.

CLEANSING : : TONING : : SERUM : :  MOISTURIZING : : SUNSCREEN

Cleansing, toning and moisturizing is a must for every skin. You need to clean the dirt in the pores and give them some external moisture. If you have acne prone skin then you need to use anti-acne systems on your skin. I use Vichy Bi-White foaming cleanser and it works amazing on my skin, I can feel the purity of skin almost instantly. I use a H2O+ water white advanced toner, It is one of the best toner's in the market. Toner helps to remove the extra dirt that cleanser does not clean, Some kind of skin do not require a toner but as I already confessed my skin is oily and tends to get dirty very soon so a toner is a must for me. My skin is tanned and does not have even skin tone so i use a Neutrogena fine fairness serum after toning and also Vichy bi white deep corrective essence on my dark spots caused by pinching my pimples :(

Moisturizing is very important. cleansing and toning removes the required moisture for the skin. I use Biotique morning nector on my face. I generally massage the moisturizer because this one is absorbed by the skin very quickly leaving my skin soft and supple

Scrubbing the tan off and removing the pollution and dirt from the skin is not enough. You need to take care enough to protect your skin from sun. A sunscreen is a must if you live in any part of india. I tried many sunscreen lotions from every brand available but this sunscreen lotion down here is my favorite and the best by far. 40SPF is enough for Indian skin. generally every other sunscreen lotions tend to become oily once you apply leaving yor skin sticky and tacky but lotus sunscreen lotion stays matter on your skin.

 EYE GEL:
The area around the eyes has the most sensitive skin when compared to any other area. It is the place where the first signs of aging are shown. I believe prevention is better than cure. I use Organic surge eye gel to massage a little before going to sleep.

FACE PACKS:
Face pack is like a simple treatment for the skin. One need to use one facepack once in a 15 days. I use this two face packs. Nature's Lacto tan clear is an amazing product to get rid of tan. Freeman's chocolate mask has deep pore cleansing properties. I absolutely love the smell of chocolate in the face pack.

 ROSE WATER:
Rosewater has amazing properties to hydrate your skin and it is important to use rosewater on the skin. I sometimes dab a cotton wall in the rosewater and apply it on the skin and leave it like that until morning for that extra glow.

You don't get samples of products in India to try and then purchase but what are girlfriends for? Find out their skin care routine, try their products and then decide what is best for you.

A Never Ending List

Hello ladies,
Today I want to talk about professional make up artists and products they use. How many of you tried to get your make up done by a professional??
How do u differentiate a professional make up artist and a normal one?
I want to share my own experience on this instance. I tried several beauty salons in hyderabad in search of a professional make up artist but sadly people charged me around 7000 to 10000 rs and did the same thing. The list of products used by them :
A very light tone foundation
A pancake
Blush
Two eyeshadow
Kajal
Eyeliner
Mascara
Lip liner
Lipstick
Lip gloss.

To my utter dismay, some of there high priced beauty salons dont even know what is contouring. Is it really worth to spend around 10,000/- in an expensive parlour for such an inexpensive make up? I say No.

A professional make up artist use many products to get into every detail of face structure.
Products used by a professional make up artist:
A Moisturizer
Face Primer
Concealer- tone correcting and single tone.
Foundation- Airbrush, Liquid and Mousse
Compact powder- clear, toned and Tone correcting
Blush- cream, powder, liquid
Bronzer
Highlighter
Eye primer
Eyeshadow
Brow pencil
Clear brow gel
Kohl pencil
Eye liner-liquid, pencil and cream
Mascara
Fake lashes
Lip liner
Lipstick
Lip gloss
Make up Mist
Make up Brushes
Sponges
Q-Tips
Make up remover

Every make up artist should know how to make your eyes look bigger and your face slimmer when needed. The above list is used by every make up artist on every client based on their skin texture and skin tone.
Wedding is an important occasion of anybody's life. It is worth investing money but for a good service you desire.
I hope this post was helpful.

Is Make-Up Important???

Hello people :)
I know there is no point apologizing for my long absence from this blog. I don't want to give in all the details that kept me busy all these weeks (probably months). I successfully finished my make up artist course and started working. Before moving any further i wanted you all to know that my best friend Karteek sivagouni became my boss now, Yes, i actually work in his team. You might have guessed already how it works, he captures the people i project beautifully :)

After doing a lot of study on skin, bone structure of different shaped faces, properties of light reflection and camera I conclude that make up is definitely important to give a new dimension to the photograph. I only deal with brides and a Camera effective make up.

Is make up that important???
My answer is YESS. Make up is a Photoshop in real life. People who don't use Photoshop or Picasa on their photographs may not understand what is make up but people who brighten the photographs and blow some glow in definitely understand what it means.

let us see some celebs with and without makeup

Did you spot the difference?? Now you might have understood why do celebrities fight for a perfect make up artist. May be we don't want to look this perfect every day but on our wedding day?? I would prefer a Flawless face much more than Flawless photographs. What do u think????
Want to know more about makeup?? Want to transform youself???
Watch this space for more :)
