Nail Care- Important or Not?

Hello lovelies,
Today when I was doing a home manicure at home I thought I must share my routine with you all. The best thing about me are my fingers. I receive compliments from everyone who observe them, I cannot change the size and shape of my fingers but I do my best to enhance their looks.  These days nail art is every where and on every one. I love innovative things and I appreciate every one who try them out but wait a sec.. Are you doing it properly? Are you preparing your nails for nail art?? Are you removing the dead skin and cuticles before going for nail art?? If not, you must know that nail art looks really shabby on nails which are not manicured properly. These days when you have two different nail colors you end up doing nail art which is so wrong.
Here are some of the nail arts I tried:

My Nail Care routine :

Step 1: Remove any nail polish residue on the nails using any nail polish remover.

Step 2: Apply any moisturizer and soak your hands in luke warm water for about 5- 10 minutes.

Step 3: Scrub your nails to remove dead skin using the scrubbing tool.

Step 4 : Cut your nails and file them according to your desired shape.

Step 5: Use cuticle cleaner to push back the cuticles and remove the dead skin over it.

Step 6: Use Nail cleaners to clean the inside's of your nails if there is any dirt.

Step 7: Use cuticle cutters to cut the dead cuticles even further.

Step 8: Buff your nails using 4 step nail buffer.

Step 9: Use any cuticle nourishment cream or lotion on your cuticles to thoroughly moisturize and nourish
             them

Step 10: Apply Nail polish using base coat first followed by nail polish and then by a top coat. Always use finger seperators to avoid any mistakes.

Step 11: Finish off with massaging any hand cream to your hands for soft hands. I use this Sally Hansen hands nails and cuticles cream but you can use anything.

Step 12: This is optional but I Love to massage my hands and legs using a massage cream once in a month for proper blood circulation and soft skin.

I love this dark plum nail polish. It is so apt for fall. I generally clean out any mistakes using an old eye shadow brush dipped in nail polish remover but you can use an ear bud too.

You want him to hold your hand and not get scared looking at your nails so don't use more than two or three colors. If you are using three colors make sure they are from the same color family like green, light green and turquoise. Be simple yet stylish. Do not over load them with everything you have.

Stay creative yet clean.

Love,
Mounika Roches.
